TeamShirts is our B2B Spread model, supplying customers for bulk and sports team orders across Europe and the US.

The team are building their own applications and platforms, with more freedom and innovative methods to integrate with customers, suppliers and other third-parties. The team need a 2nd tech lead to help run the 8 person tech team to complete our new projects.

Our Tech Stack

• We currently have a PHP Symfony Backend, which we try to migrate in Java/Kotlin Spring Microservices
• We use MySQL, Redis and Elastic Search databases for persisting data
• We use React and Tailwind in the frontend.
• We use Gitlab for build processes, Kubernetes, Docker and Rundeck for deployments, Kibana and Grafana for monitoring, Jira, Confluence and Miro as tool support for day-to-day work
• We change to be a driving force in our development and are not afraid to challenge existing architectures

What You´ll Do

• You will lead a passionate team with 8 software engineers with Product Owner, Scrum Master and Product Designer on a technical level
• You are responsible for a full-service (BE, FE) product team
• You can actively shape the transition of Teamshirts IT architecture and make it ready for the future
• You will be part of the agile transformation which is taking place in the IT Department now.
• You will pro-actively collaborate with other engineers, product designers, product owners and users
• You like helping colleagues who are stuck and don’t mind asking for help.
• You will attack complexity and fight for simple solutions
• You are familiar with distributed systems and their challenges.
• You stay up to date with the latest developments in the software industry.
• You have an appreciative nature, are open minded and have a growth-mindset.
• You have a pragmatic mindset and care about solving problems for our users – not for unlikely future requirements.
• You know that handling and providing constructive feedback is essential for effective teamwork as well as your personal development
